Original Bad Dog Designs Upcycled Avo-8 Nixie Tube Clock

  

This is an original 1980's Avo - 8 that has been carefully upcycled into a great little Nixie Clock. A great gift for the man that has everything!

The Avo-8 is instantly recognisable by any electrical or electronics engineer as a classic piece of test equipment. The dial has been CNC machined out to accommodate 4 Nixie tubes to then tell the time.

The clock displays Hours and Minutes, with a 5 second count up prior to every minute change. On the rear of the clock are the controls to set the time, and connection to the power supply. The Meter measures about 15cm wide, 18cm tall and 10cm deep. If you prefer a different colour to the blue backlight in the pictures, just let us know.
