Nixie Clock Giant RZ568M Dalibor nixie tubes (board and case only, nixies not included). Clear acrylic case included with the electronics board (nixies not included). A quick video clip is here.
I have finally completed the design of the electronics of my clock for 4x RZ568M Nixie tubes by Dalibor Farny. With infrared motion sensor, barometric pressure, humidity sensor, temperature sensor, LED backlights (can be switched off or can choose among many colors), rotary encoder, real time clock with backup battery, GPS receiver with external antenna included, Arduino compatible, 12V jack connector with OV/UV protection??
It's ready as is, just plug and play, it's using arduino compatible platform (chip Atmega328p). Nixie tubes of course not included in the price. One simple rotary encoder to set options from the menu.LED backlight - from off to 17 colours, including rainbow and wheel effects. LED brightness can be adjusted.
Anti-cathode poisoning routine to prolong tube life, 5 modes with 3 different timings, so effectively 15 options there. Leading zero for the hours can be turned off. Neon bulb has different modes: both neons blinking, alternate, always on. PIR sensor (on, off, timed). PIR sensor timing (choose from 1 minute to 99 minutes).
PIR sensor can be easily replaced with one of your choose if you need to extend the cable etc. GPS baud rate selection (9600 to 115200). Every 10 minutes or when the rotary button is pressed once, the watch displays Temperature/Pressure/Humidity. If there is a valid GPS signal it will start with Day/Month followed by Temperature/Pressure/Humidity.
