The main feature of this clock that makes it unique - it can display custom text messages on boot and with press 5 on the remote control. Start message can be turned off with a special code typed on the remote control #999999. This Vintage Nixie Tube Clock is handcrafted using new old stock tubes.

These Nixie tubes are at least 30 years old, have never been used before, and come from old military stock. Old school technology combined with an art deco style and handmade enclosure. Include vintage IV-17 VFD tubes, soldered board, and enclosure. 12 or 24-hour operation modes.

Real time clock battery for keeping time (CR1220) life around 3 years. Simple time setting using one button or remote control.

Tubes are driven in high frequency dynamical indication and provide service for many years. All settings are stored in non-volatile memory. Blinking "dots" between tubes with frequency 1Hz. Charge: DC 5V 1A and microUSB plug. Time accuracy (+/- 1 second per month) is provided by built-in RTC (Real Time Clock) based on an extremely precise DS3231 module with temperature compensation and backup with CR1220 battery.
