Graphics VFD Nixie Tube Digital Clock & Alarm Art Deco Vintage Unique Design
This is a unique Nixie Clock based on a Graphics Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) Tube. The clock is run by a high speed microcontroller (PIC32) to form the beautiful green glowing characters on the fluorescent surface. The time is kept by a high precision low drift clock chip. It has an alarm function.
When enabled, the alarm time is shown on the right top corner. When there is a power cut/failure, the display turns off but its clock chip keeps the time ticking up to 24 hours. Alarm is disabled during power failure. It uses a brand new long life VFD. The enclosure is a glass looking acrylic case.
There might be some slight imperfections around the edges due to CNC cutting process. Clear Rubber feet on the bottom. Dimensions are 213x59x38mm (LxWxD) approx. Comes with a USB power cable.
