Cathode Ray Tube Nixie Clock Art Deco Vintage Unique Design CRT Valve
This is a unique cathode ray tube clock that uses a CV2175 (DG7-5) CRT. It has five unique clock faces.
The pong game clock face is animated. (Self playing the game while showing the time as score) See the relevant photos.It runs from any USB power adapter that can deliver 5V 1A. It consumes only 2.5W in average after warming up. An internal rechargeable battery back up enables the time keeping for at least 24 hours (potentially much longer) when the clock is off. Approx dimensions: Length including the CRT: 18cm, Height: 21cm nominal (depends on the adjustable tube angle), Base diameter: 12cm, CRT diameter: 7cm. The glass looking acrylic case on the back of the tube houses all the electronics.
It is possibly the smallest board ever made for a CRT clock. (Everything fits into a 55x55mm printed circuit board).Supplied with an USB cable and a quick start-up manual only.
